  • Can I visit the studio before enrolling?
Yes, you can visit the studio by contacting us in advance to schedule a time. We’ll be happy to show you around and answer any questions you might have.
  • Are private lessons available?
Yes, we offer private lessons for students who prefer a more personalized learning experience or wish to focus on specific areas.
  • What is the structure of the Academy courses?
The Academy courses are divided into six levels: Beginner 1-2-3 and Intermediate 1-2-3. Each lesson lasts 1 hour and is progressive. For every level, we alternate between salsa and bachata weekly, offering two classes per week for each style.
  • How many classes are there per week?
Membership includes two classes per week, designed to cover both salsa and bachata. We alternate between salsa and bachata weekly.
  • Can I choose to learn only one style?
No, our program integrates both salsa and bachata as part of the learning process.
  • Can I choose to attend only one class per week?
We recommend attending all the classes included in your membership package to ensure proper learning of the program. If you choose to attend only one class per week, this may slow down your progress and could result in not advancing at the same pace as other students.
  • Do I need to bring a partner, or can I come alone?
You don’t need to bring a partner. You can come alone, as we rotate partners during classes to enhance skills and foster a social atmosphere.
  • Can I dance with my partner only?
No, our program is designed to teach students to dance with everyone. Partner rotation is a key part of our teaching methodology, fostering individual skill development and a welcoming social atmosphere. However, private lessons are available for those who prefer to dance exclusively with one partner.
  • What do I need to wear for the classes?
Wear comfortable clothing and clean shoes. High tango heels are not allowed.
  • I am a complete beginner and have never danced before. Can I still join the studio?
Absolutely! Our Beginner 1 class is perfect for those with no prior experience.
  • When will the next Beginner 1 course start?
The start date for the next Beginner 1 course depends on the current schedule and enrollment. Please contact us via email or check our social media for the most up-to-date information on upcoming courses.
  • How long am I going to stay in each level?
Each level has a different program, so the duration depends on your progress and instructor approval.
  • I have danced salsa and/or bachata before. Can I start in any of the intermediate levels?
If you have experience in only one of the styles (e.g., mambo/salsa on2 or bachata), you cannot join the intermediate levels because both styles are required at this level. We recommend starting with Beginner 1 to build a strong foundation in the style you're less familiar with. However, if you're highly skilled in one style and feel confident transitioning to the other, we encourage you to speak with our instructors. They can assess your skills and suggest the best starting point for you, potentially allowing a faster progression through the beginner levels.
